EP · 1.8 tonne · lithium
The only forklift here that charges from a single-phase 15A outlet.
Charges from a dedicated single-phase 15A outlet (the larger-earth-pin socket, not a standard 10A power point). No three-phase supply or charging room required.
Indicative from-rates, ex GST, for approved commercial credit on a 36-month fully maintained term. Every price shown is a starting point, not a fixed offer — your written quote reflects site assessment, annual hours, configuration, delivery zone and credit assessment, and may be higher where risk factors apply. Right machine if…
- Small warehouses, retail back-of-house, e-commerce and auto parts
- Regular loads up to about 1.5 t
- Sites without three-phase power
- First forklift for a growing business
Wrong machine if…
- Multi-shift or high-frequency work (7.2 kWh battery)
- Loads regularly near the 1.8 t limit at height
- Rough or unpaved yards
Why sites pick the EFL181
- Plugs into a standard 15A single-phase outlet
- Lowest weekly rate in the fleet
- Compact chassis for tight small-warehouse aisles
Rated capacity applies at a 500 mm load centre at low height. Residual capacity reduces with lift height, long loads and attachments — we verify the manufacturer load chart against your heaviest pallet and top beam height before recommending any machine.

Questions we get about the EFL181
Do I need three-phase power for the EFL181?
No. The EFL181 has a built-in charger that plugs into a single-phase 15A outlet — the larger-earth-pin socket used by many workshop machines, not a standard 10A power point. If your site only has 10A GPOs, a licensed electrician can add a 15A outlet cheaply — still a far smaller job than a three-phase installation. (Manufacturer documentation lists a 16A plug for EU markets; the Australian delivery configuration is a 15A plug per the dealer specification.)
How long does the EFL181 battery last per charge?
The 150Ah (about 7.2 kWh) lithium pack suits a typical single-shift day of light to moderate use. Lithium chemistry also allows opportunity charging during breaks without damaging the battery. For multi-shift work we recommend the EFX5 or BYD models with larger packs.
What loads can it actually lift at height?
Rated capacity is 1,800 kg at a 500 mm load centre at low height. Residual capacity reduces with lift height and with the side shift fitted — we confirm the load chart against your actual pallets before recommending it.
Is the EFL181 right for your site?
Send us your loads, lift heights and power supply — we’ll confirm the load chart and quote it the same day.
